Reading: My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh
Audio: U2, Songs of Experience
Video: New episodes of “Endeavour” on PBS

Art: I’m reading about Corita Kent and I’m fascinated by her.
Drink: Jane’s Garden tea (green tea with pomegranate and rose) from Harneys
Eats & Treats: Pizza from Brooklyn Pizza Crew. Mango from the fruit truck at the corner.
Garb: A new black summer dress from COS, with all the features I love: a scoop neck, short sleeves, mid-calf length, and an interesting detail in the skirt
Beauty Products: Babo Botanicals SPF 15 Lip Tint Conditioner in Wild Rose
Pleasure: The satisfying conclusion of a big and busy work project
Worry: What comes next?

Could you recommend a book on Corita Kent? I’m interested in an art book rather than a biography (though her life certainly was interesting).

Hi SC! Here are three suggestions: “Corita Kent and the Language of Pop,” published by Harvard Art Museums in 2015; “Someday Is Now: The Art of Corita Kent,” published by the Tang Museum in 2013; and the chapter about Corita in the book “Power Up: Female Pop Art,” published in 2010. 🙂
