Reading: Just about to finish the collected stories of Flannery O’Connor. I’ve been reading my way through this volume for the past few months, bit by bit. Remarkable stuff.
Video: The second season of LUPIN.
Audio: On a Siouxsie & The Banshees binge lately. I think this was triggered by the recent (40th?!) anniversary of Juju.
(Tr)eats: Strawberries from the farmers market.
Drinks: Gin and bergamot nectar.
Garb: A new black summer dress from Everlane. (Now I understand why people like this company.) Sandals. Print hair-wraps from Protean London.
Beauty Products: Some tinted lip balms and stick glosses from Silk Naturals, to celebrate my gradual return to unmasked life. Favorite so far: a shade called Mix Tape.
Pleasures: A solstice celebration in Brooklyn. A fresh haircut. Functional air-conditioning during a recent heatwave.
Plans: An extended weekend of birthday celebrations with family and friends.

I am also obsessed with LUPIN right now! There’s a scene briefly featuring perfume in the background in episode 3 about which I wonder what your thoughts are/will be.

Yes! It’s a contemporary crime caper inspired by the Arsène Lupin stories — which, I must admit, I’ve never read! Lots of fantastic Paris locations, suspense without too much violence, a very handsome leading man.
