I’m looking forward to making my West Coast début this winter, with an in-person lecture at the Timken Museum of Art in San Diego. It will take place on January 22, 2023 and it’s titled “Perfumed Gloves and Jasmine Fields: How France Become a Fragrance Capital.” I’m very grateful for this invitation to speak in another city, particularly in an art museum.
Looking and learning, seeing and smelling — plus refreshments! It should be a fun multi-sensory event. If you’re located near San Diego and would like to find out more about this program, please see the Timken’s website.
Congratulations! This sounds so cool. I wish I could go, but I’m on the East Coast. I hope it goes well!

Thank you! I’ve given online talks for the L.A.-based Institute for Art and Olfaction but I’ve never traveled this far physically to give a scent-themed talk. A new experience!

Thank you!! This will be my first visit to San Diego and it’s also a well-timed escape from winter in NYC! so I’m looking forward to this trip for many reasons.
