Video: I just watched the first episode of Ripley (the latest adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s The Talented Mr. Ripley) and I’m looking forward to seeing the rest.

(Tr)eats: Sometimes, I just really want some Stella d’Oro cookies. Right now, it’s a package of Margherites.

Drink: A bottle of Blake Hill Basil Blueberry Shrub, mixed with seltzer water and a little honey (for a mocktail) or gin (for a cocktail).

Garb: In this long transitional season, my circa-2017 H&M denim jacket (with Japanese-style birds embroidered on the back) is still going strong over cardigans and dresses.

Beauty products: Korres Basil Lemon shower gel in the morning. Flyte.70 S+S Lip Sheer in Wishing Well for everyday lip color (mine is almost used up!).

Pleasures: Long daylight. Cherry blossom season in NYC. A new Mexican food spot in our neighborhood. Seeing a favorite author giving a talk about her latest book.

Plans: Getting ready to lead scented gallery tours of the HIroshige exhibition currently on view at the Brooklyn Museum.
