I haven’t written anything over the past couple weeks, due to the gloomy weather, fatigue from a lingering sinus infection, and sadness over Gaia’s passing. So I’ll ease back into things with this monthly round-up. Feel free to share your own doings in the comments!
Reading: Debbie Harry’s memoir, Face It. Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women (for the first time in…a long time!).
Audio: Annie Lennox, A Christmas Cornucopia
Video: Season 3 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. And The Rise of Skywalker!
Art: I just can’t go to museums (other than my workplace) during the holiday season! However, I’ve been reading up a bit on Helen Frankenthaler and some other women artists for an upcoming show at work.
Eats & Treats: Brooklyn Pizza Crew pizza. Mud pie from Butter & Scotch.
Drink: Tulsi and rose herbal tea with honey.
Garb: Black wool cardigans I bought last year at COS. My old black Timberlands, re-soled. Earmuffs.
Beauty Products: Jessicurl hair products. These work really well for my hair.
Pleasure: A few days off, spending time with family and friends. Choosing little holiday gifts for co-workers and bigger Christmas gifts for Mr. Professor.
Plan: Think about pitching some new classes and talks for 2020. (Any requests?)

I might have to re-read Little Women with the movie coming out! It’s been ages for me too.

I hope you’re having a peaceful few days. My daughters and I may go see the new movie of Little Women tomorrow, looking forward to seeing if it’s as good as the reviews say.
