Happy 2020 and Year of the Rat! I’m doing this list a little later in the month than usual. What have you been up to lately?

Reading: Prairie Fires: The American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder by Caroline Fraser.

Audio: I just realized that WNYC’s “American Standards” has a streaming channel. How did I not know this?!

Video: Season 3 of The Crown. Some really outstanding actors in this season, including the ones who portray Prince Charles and Princess Anne.

Eats & Treats: Leftover peppermint bark candy from Christmas. Shhh. It’s all gone now, finally.

Drink: Illy coffee made in my trusty Aeropress.

Garb: A little faux-suede motorcycle jacket that I bought in Savannah in November. Fluevog ankle boots.

Beauty Products: Two recent discoveries for eyes…L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Last Liner in Bronze and Sephora Brow Volumizing Fiber Mascara in Ash Brown.

Pleasure: Some very necessary (and long-postponed) home repairs.

Plans: Research for spring exhibitions. Valentines for friends and family. Extensive sampling of all the new perfume vials I’m keeping stashed in a little makeup bag right now.
