Well, this has been a fast month. What have you been up to?
Here’s my “currently” wrap-up…
Reading: Hangsaman by Shirley Jackson (for the spooky Halloween season) and Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens (a loan from T.)
Audio: Nina Simone
Video: The Haunting of Bly Manor on Netflix
(Tr)eats: I just ate a locally made bomboloni filled with lemon curd…pretty hard to beat.
Drink: Cappuccinos picked up from our two nearby cafés, always a good excuse for a walk
Garb: Last fall I bought a little faux suede gray zippered jacket in Savannah. I somehow barely wore it last winter. Now I’m giving it lots of attention.
Beauty Products: A few skincare items from Good Molecules. So effective! So affordable!
Pleasure: The response to my “Making Scents of Studio 54” presentation. (Many thanks to those of you who attended!)
Plans: Two more upcoming talks, plus more, I hope. Getting a carpeting job done in our home. More work deadlines for a new program. A socially distanced Halloween yard meet-up with some local friends, especially the very young ones.
Stay well!
